🔧XR400 - Front and rear wheel spacers and seals. Let's make a motorcycle part on the lathe!
First fabrication video on the channel :) I've made wheel spacers because old one were pretty used. Wheel seals were in bad condition too, so I bought new ones.
Core of the spacer is made from aluminium PA6 (or 2017A). The outer layer is made from stainless steel to make it more durable.

Last days DR was tested at Romania Trans Euro Trail - no problems found :) Soon there will be more detailed video about all problems during engine swap. See you soon!

🔧 DR350S - The clutch cable replacement (OEM vs. All Balls vs. Cheap one)
Переглядів 3,9 тис.2 роки тому
This time we will replace clutch cable in DR350S. There is recurring problem with clutch cable. Near the exhaust pipe outer plastic layer melts and inner spiral tube starts to deform. Due this clutch cable starts to change its length and you need to adjust it almost every day. It may be caused by raised handlebar, because it stretch the cable. Now with better quality cable and new clutch cable ...

Переглядів 6862 роки тому
From Lake Vrazje we set off on a ride on the quite well known and popular P14 road through the fabulous Durmitor. This road belongs to the Trans Euro Trail, but it is not very off-roadish 🙂 so we tried to find interesting paths also on our own. This way we also visited Lake Pivsko (the second largest lake in Montenegro), viewing it from different heights while climbing the wall of its canyon. A...

Nice clear video thank you, but you did not show if the new cable was easier to pull ;) I always use OEM clutch cables, it is the only way to get a nice smooth clutch. And I have never seen a melted cable, but have done 50+ thousand miles on DRs, I guess it is from your raised bars which is pulling the cable too close to the header.

Thank you for the informative video. I just completed this repair on my 1999 DR350se.On my motorcycle it was extremely difficult/ almost impossible to shift into neutral, the clutch would drag while in neutral, and shifting was notchy. The parts I used were the 2 metal washers, metal sleeve and cover gasket from Suzuki. My bike has lower miles, so I inspected and reused the clutch. It rides so much better now. Thank you
